The standard and next day delivery service used at Summerill & Bishop is a premium courier service; we use this as we want to ensure all our products arrive safely and on time.

As soon your order is dispatched you will receive an email confirmation.
In the event that an item becomes out of stock once you have placed your order we will email or phone you with an estimated delivery date, should you wish, the option to cancel is possible if you would rather not wait until new stock arrives. Similarly, if for some reason you order cannot be delivered within the specified time we will of course contact you.

Our standard UK delivery charge starts from £7.98. Providing your items are in stock we will aim to deliver your order within 7 days from date of order, in many instances it will be less. Please note that during peak periods you should allow up to 10 days.

For large, bulky orders where the freight cost exceeds the specified charge Summerill & Bishop will contact the customer to agree the increased freight charge before dispatching the goods.

We are unable to deliver NEXT DAY to the following areas:
- Isle of Man
- Northern Scotland, Highlands and Off Shore Islands whose postcode areas are the following:
HS1-9, IV3-11, IV14-28, IV40-49, IV51-56, IV63, KA27, KA28, KW1-17, PA41-50, PA60-78, ZE1-3
- Republic of Ireland
As long as your order is received before midday we will be able to deliver your goods the next working day. Any orders placed after this time will be deferred until the following business day.
(N.B. Orders placed on a Friday cannot be booked with the courier until Monday, and so will be delivered the next working day, i.e. Tuesday, and orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will not be delivered until the following Tuesday also).
Summerill & Bishop class Saturday, Sunday and all Bank Holidays as non working days.

No-one at Home
The courier service we use to deliver your order requires somebody at the delivery address to sign for the package. This person does not need to be the addressee. The signature is electronically logged for security. Any signature at the address taken will be taken as proof of delivery by us.
If no one is available at the delivery address to sign for the goods, the delivery company will leave a card with their details on it. They will attempt to redeliver your package on the consecutive day. You can call the number on the card quoting the card reference number to re-arrange delivery at a more suitable time. If the delivery company is unable to deliver your order and you do not contact them within 5 working days from the first delivery attempt date, a re-delivery charge will be incurred.
International Orders

Providing your items are in stock we will aim to deliver your order within 10 days, please note that during peak periods you should allow up to 14 days.
Our products are sold in Pounds Sterling on a delivery duty unpaid basis. If you are purchasing an item from outside of the EU you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance is your responsibility, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Custom policies vary from country to country, so we strongly advise you to check these details with your local customs office before placing an order as you shall not be entitled to cancel your order on the basis of unforeseen duties or levies.

PO Boxes
Unfortunately we do not deliver to PO boxes or to BFPO’s (British Forces Posted Overseas).
Packaging
We try to be as environmentally friendly as we can and do our best to recycle. Although we ensure your order is wrapped carefully, securely and beautifully there are times where we may re-use boxes and packaging materials we have received to pack your order. We hope you don’t mind and understand that by reducing, reusing and recycling we are all doing our bit for the planet.
