Limited Edition "Le Menu" S&B x La Colombe d'Or Linen Tablecloth, 300cm PRE-ORDER
AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER NOW, DELIVERY IN JULY.
After the success of our sold-out 380cm ‘Le menu’ S&B x La Colombe d’Or tablecloth last year, we have bowed to pressure and produced a new limited edition in 300cm. The same beautiful tablecloth – just with a few less dishes to chose from!!
This 100% linen tablecloth is adorned with the iconic and timeless menu from our favourite, and arguable the world’s most famous inn, La Colombe d’Or.
The bright colours of the menu sit on a slightly off white background – and provide the perfect setting for any summer meal.
The 300cm ‘Le Menu’ S&B x La Colombe d’Or linen tablecloth will be available for delivery in July, but we are taking pre-orders now.
This is a limited run, so we anticipate selling out prior to the linens arriving.
Create the romanticism of La Colombe at your own table…just add your own panier de crudités.
Matching napkins available.
Please note; this limited number of tablecloths are only available in 165cm x 300cm.
Wash at up to 60 degrees on a regular cycle (avoid “eco” or longer cycles).
Never soak for longer than 10 minutes and avoid using Vanish and other whitening products.
Tumble dry at 70 degrees for a soft effect, and 90 degrees for a more crushed finish.
We don't recommend ironing the full cloth in order to keep the linen’s lovely crumpled texture intact, but we do like to iron the edges to give it a sharper edge.
A 165cm x 300cm tablecloth will fit between six and eight people around the table.
But for S&B it is so much more. A place so close to our hearts (our co-founder June can be found there most days when she is in her nearby home) – a place of warmth and hospitality that shares so many of our own values.
Over the decades, the Roux family, who have preserved the secret of this unique inn, have seen its destiny associated with that of exceptional figures such as Pablo Picasso, Jacques Prevert, Yves Mobtand, Matisse, Braque, Leger, Calder, James Baldwin and so many other writers and actors.
As they say, if only those walls could talk … but even more so if only that iconic menu could talk. Instantly recognizable for anyone who has experienced La Colombe for themselves … the magic of all those hands the menu has passed through imbues it with a history of its own – next year 100 years of laughter, merriment, and stories that will never leave those walls.
