In Scandinavia, distilling, flavouring and sipping snaps in the home has always been an essential element to enjoying a beautiful meal with family and friends. In honour of that tradition we’ve created a truly joyful masterclass.
Hosted by Kell Skött, co-founder of the incredible restaurant Snaps + Rye on Golbourne Road, join us to learn everything there is to know about the long history of this versatile spirit. There will also be a pairing of the spirit with snitter, an open faced Nordic sandwich made from homemade 100% organic rye bread, garnished with seasonal ingredients and compotes, as well as with other Nordic classics including herring, salmon, and frikadeller. And the finale? Under Kell's expert guidance you will learn how to infuse 250ml of snaps with a variety of herbs and spices of your choosing - A perfect way to get inspired for festive season.
Materials for the evening will be provided during the class, and to take home you’ll have our signature S&B Goody Bag and some deliciously flavoured snaps you can be proud of, to enjoy after!
