SUMMERILL & BISHOP is a very special kitchen shop, opened by June Summerill and Bernadette Bishop 12 years ago.
Alongside state of the art Japanese knives and Laguiole from France, are Italian designed steel pans, French and Belgian glassware, brushes from the Black Forest, and cooking pots and trays from the Lebanon. They also sell French country furniture, old Provencal table linen and chopping boards plus many other beautiful kitchen objects.
Summerill and Bishop has been quoted by both Tricia Guild of Designers Guild, and Ruth Rogers of The River Cafe as their favourite kitchen shop. The combination of modern and old, which June and Bernadette discover on their relentelss quest for items they would have in their own kitchens, make the shop a wonderful and stimulating environment.
