We've known Carole Bamford for quite a few years, not only as a faithful customer at the shop, but as a business pioneer we deeply admire. Over the span of more than 35 years, she's not only helped convert her family's farms in Gloucestershire and Staffordshire into completely organic operations, but she's also built the Daylesford
brand—the Gloucestershire restaurant, cookery school, farm shop and chain of London cafés—which is the very definition of farm-to-table. Daylesford is proof that it is possible to live in a way that is environmentally sustainable and absolutely beautiful at the same time. Needless to say, we were honoured when Carole asked if we might like to open a pop up at Daylesford near Kingham for a few weeks.
From now until June 12th, you can find us in the Garden Room at Daylesford farm.
Last Saturday, we headed down to Gloucestershire to set up shop in the cow barn (literally) at Daylesford's wildly entertaining annual fair. Below, our snaps from a wonderful weekend.
[S&B at the Farm]
We headed down to Daylesford in the early Spring to scope out the space.
In just 24 hours, the cow barn became the home barn.
Under each hanging Word tablecloth, we dressed a matching table.
[The Garden Room Shop]
We're in residence at Daylesford through June 12th.
Our "Happy" tablecloth is now in stock in fuschia.
The S&B team takes on the farm.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Daylesford who made us feel so welcome and helped us make this all happen.
