Jerusalem Candle by Astier de Villatte
A wild-smelling pilgrimage through the celestial city, bounded by its ramparts.
Following the paths to the sacred sites: The holy Sepulchre, The Wailing Wall, The Garden of Olives.
Dark and secret emanations of oud, cedar wood and nutmeg, followed by the lighter, more vegetal gum resin and cypress.
100% natural wax, free of paraffin.
Never leave a lit candle unattended, and do not burn one for more than 3 consecutive hours.
Always burn a candle until the entire surface liquifies, and allow it to solidify before relighting.
Keep the wick trimmed to 57 mm long at all times, to avoid any black smoke.
Gently repositionthe wick while the wax is still molten.
Once only 1 cm of wax remains, blow out the candle and let it fully cool before safely discarding it.
Never burn a candle all the way through the bottom.
9cm x 9cm x 10cm
Their candles, which were created around meaningful places around the world, from the artist Balthus’ Grand Chalet to Honolulu are totally transporting.
