Refer a Friend Programme
Our Refer A Friend programme rewards participants with a discount for every friend they refer who purchases from our website using the referrer’s unique link or code. Both the discounts entitle each party to 10% off their order. However, terms and conditions outlined below apply.
References to the ‘Referrer’ shall be deemed to be references to the person who signs up to participate in our ‘Refer a Friend’ programme. References to the ‘Referred Friend’ shall denote a friend that receives an invitation link or code from the Referrer. And finally, reference to Summerill & Bishop and ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ shall be deemed to be references to Summerill & Bishop Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 2891938 and with our registered office at 100 Portland Road, London, W11 4LQ. Our UK VAT Registration Number is 644903628.
The ‘Referrer’ may NOT redeem Invitations or earn Referral Rewards by promoting their Invitation link (or their unique referral code) through:
- Paid marketing (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Instagram Ads – but they can post a referral link on personal social media accounts in stories or via organic posts);
- Posting the Invitation (or its unique referral code) on any coupon site where they are not the primary content owner).
Each referral must meet the following conditions to qualify for a reward:
- Both the Referrer and the Referred Friend must be over the age of 18.
- The Referred Friend must NOT be an existing Summerill & Bishop customer.
- The Referred Friend can use their discount on their first order only.
- The Referrer will receive one discount per friend referral.
- The Referrer will be rewarded once the Referred Friend makes a purchase worth at least 2GBP, AND once the 30-day returns-window passes without the transaction being cancelled or refunded. Any rewards will be revoked if a refund is requested on the order for which the reward was offered.
- Referral rewards can NOT be combined, with each other or other discount codes, in a single order to exceed the 10% discount.
- The 10% reward can NOT be used to purchase any items that appear in our ‘Astier De Villatte’ OR ‘Fun Glassware’ collections.
- The ‘Referred Friend’ reward cannot be claimed by the same person making the referral.
- Awarded discounts will expire 30 days after being issued.
- Cash or money may NOT be obtained in exchange for Referral Rewards.
- Each party is responsible for notifying Summerill & Bishop if they believe the number of Referral Rewards in their Account is incorrect.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or terminate the ‘Refer a Friend’ Program, in part or in whole, at any time, for any reason, or, upon reasonable notice to you (including by email), to void or remove Referral Rewards from an Account at any time. All Referral Rewards will be voided immediately upon termination of these Terms or if you Cancel your Account.
