Size

A 175cm x 175cm tablecloth will fit between four and five people around the table. A 160cm x 300cm tablecloth will fit between six and eight people around the table. A 160cm x 380cm tablecloth will fit between ten and twelve people around the table.

Care Instructions

Wash at up to 60 degrees on a regular cycle (avoid “eco” or longer cycles).
Never soak for longer than 10 minutes and avoid using Vanish and other whitening products.
Tumble dry at 70 degrees for a soft effect, and 90 degrees for a more crushed finish.
We don't recommend ironing the full cloth in order to keep the linen’s lovely crumpled texture intact, but we do like to iron the edges to give it a sharper edge.

Delivery & Returns

We care very much about the products we sell and the service that we offer. However, if you would like to return any items that you have purchased from us, we will be happy to replace a product or issue a refund provided it is returned unused, unopened, in perfect condition (including the product packaging) and remains in a re-saleable condition. About Us

Founded by June Summerill and Bernadette Bishop, two great friends with a truly effortless and unique sense of style, Summerill & Bishop first opened its doors on 18th May, 1994 in Holland Park, and has remained on the same quiet, leafy corner of Clarendon Cross ever since.

Fantastic home cooks and entertainers both, June and Bernadette were frustrated with the offerings at most kitchen and tableware shops at the time, and with the lack of personality and intimacy, so they decided to create one of their own, where beauty and functionality would both be key.

To commemorate Bernadette's passing, S&B trademarked her signature flower design and designed a beautiful line of linens which launched in Sept 2015. And that is how S&B decided to focus on table linen - the fabric of life.

At Summerill & Bishop we believe that if people take the time to lay the table and present a meal beautifully, they'll enjoy it all the more and create a lasting memory for those who share it with them.

For us, laying the table is an art form that we can all master at home and is one of the simplest ways to tell someone what they mean to you. The table isn't just a place to pass food, you pass tradition, memory, and love, too. Read our full story here...

The story

For what may be our boldest collection yet, we've collaborated with London-based designer Hannah Weiland of cult fashion label
Shrimps on a series of tablecloths that bring her singular vision to the table.
Shrimps' edgy prints and brightly coloured faux fur jackets, coats and accessories are donned by the most fashionable in London and the world, so we thought we'd push the boundary and meld fashion into décor.
Our collection highlights many of “Shrimps” most loved signatures including bold stripes in unusual colour combinations and luscious swathes of technicolor faux fur.
