A little message about our printed linens…

Linen is a beautiful and timeless fabric, loved for its natural and irregular look.

Due to its textured rough surface and our manufacturing process, developed to relax and soften the fabric, your tablecloth and napkins may have some small white spots and areas of fading on the printed surface, which is characteristic of our technique.

These irregularities are completely normal and make each item truly unique.

Wash at up to 60 degrees on a regular cycle (avoid “eco” or longer cycles).
Never soak for longer than 10 minutes and avoid using Vanish and other whitening products.
Tumble dry at 70 degrees for a soft effect, and 90 degrees for a more crushed finish.
We don't recommend ironing the full cloth in order to keep the linen’s lovely crumpled texture intact, but we do like to iron the edges to give it a sharper edge.

The Story

Inspired by founders June Summerill & Bernadette Bishop’s enduring love of visiting flower markets in the South of France and by the flowers that embellish the English countryside. Le Marché aux Fleurs features an immersive scene of pansies, buttercups, hollyhocks, cosmos, pink daisies and forget-me-nots, arranged in delightful maximalism.
With Le Marché aux Fleurs, Summerill & Bishop celebrate the abundant flowers found in the markets, meadows and woodlands across England, Europe and beyond.
