heart of Belgravia.
Since then, we've spent some time meandering through these endearing streets - the brighter Spring blooms, the more we fall in love with beautiful Belgravia.
This week we wanted to share with you some of the places we consider to make Belgravia so very charming - starting of course with Elizabeth Street.
Love S&B
Known for cakes and cupcakes that are equal parts delicious and beautiful, our sweet tooth is smitten (Try the Cookies & Cream Cupcake - it comes with an Oreo in the base!)
Named after the 19th century master builder responsible for much of the Belgravia aesthetic. All of the windows along the ground floor open up in the summer. The perfect spot for wonderful alfresco drinking on balmy evenings.
This superb Parisenne bakery with an enchanting aroma of freshly baked breads has been on Eizabeth Street for quite some time. The famous Sourdough bread and their Chocolate Croissants are particularly moreish.
One of the most lovingly, well curated dog and cat concept stores we've ever encountered. This place is a must for the chicest pet outfitting.
A truly historic and sensory experience - this shop opened on Elizabeth Street in 1984 and is the UK's oldest independent perfumery. It's sheer joy to peruse through this gem of a shop.
The newest project from Jo Malone herself, Jo Loves is another invigoratingly wonderful experience - full of fresh, completely original fragrances (we love Red Truffle 21!)
This delightful Sardinian restaurant has branches dotted around Belgravia each with its own speciality - Oliviocarne, Olivomare, Olivino, Olivo and Olivogelo. The Blueberry yogurt from Olivino is amazing!
The 'Cronut' is Dominique Ansel's claim to fame and like S&B, a fellow newbie to Elizabeth Street. We highly recomend popping in to see exactly why everyone cannot get enough of these creative desserts.
And finally, our shop! If you haven't roamed this lovely neighbourhood just yet, or if you have and missed us, do stop by and say hi!
La Poule Au Pot, 231 Ebury Street, SW1W 8UT
Venue for last year's S&B Christmas Party - This Classic French Bistrot complete with bunches of beautiful dried flowers, candlelit tables, has one of the sunniest outdoor terraces in the area. They also do a set lunch menu that's hard to beat.
The Goring Hotel, 15 Beeston Place, SW1W 0JW
A truly British institution hidden between Victoria Station and Buckingham Palace. Their Afternoon Tea is something to write home about, as is the garden you get to lookout onto while sipping away.
Cadogan Hall, 5 Sloane Terrace, SW1X 9DQ
With its excellent acoustics, this venue plays host to some of the world's top orchestras, as well as an always interesting selcetion of contemporary, jazz and world music. It's always worth checking to see what's on.
