Make Sunshine

Ever since we spotted the first branches of Mimosa in bloom back in February, we've been gravitating towards this sunny shade. Not only does it herald warmer, blue-sky days, but yellow is just so inviting that it makes the perfect tablescape for coming together with the people you love. 

Perhaps that's why the entire spectrum of bright yellow is now apparently referred to as Gen Z Yellow (bye bye Millennial Pink), embraced by younger generations for it's gram-worthy appeal and upbeat feel. Given how much we love yellow, we'll chalk it up as yet more evidence that we're still young at heart. 

What we love about this vibrant colour is how nicely it plays (and clashes) with other shades and finishes. It works with natural textures like wood, and pairs beautifully with cool blues and pretty pinks, as well as dark botanicals too. However you style it, sunshine hues are always a good idea.  

As for building your own sun-scape, we've given you as much inspiration below as we hope you need.
Add just a pop of colour by scattering our bud vases down your table. Lay the foundation for energetic banter with our favourite tablecloths: Le Cirque, Cornice and Happy, all of which will instantly lift the mood. Or go all out with our vibrant La Couronne ceramic dinnerware and Bumba glasses. The finishing touches? Hand painted lemon yellow linen cushions and handblown 'Clair' pitchers overflowing with fresh flowers, of course.
