Thanks a Dozen

Last week, the Summerill & Bishop team had the joy of collaborating with EARNT for the Age UK Valentine's Gala, a heartwarming afternoon of entertainment and afternoon tea, dedicated to fostering community and reducing loneliness amongst older neighbours.

Now celebrating our third year, the event continues to grow, this year welcoming over 400 guests.

Through our Let's Bake Love campaign, 40 of you baked a beautiful array of cakes and teatime treats, ensuring every guest enjoyed a cake-filled afternoon full of love, laughter, and even a little dancing.

Some of the first bakes through our doors... Just some of our brilliant volunteer bakers delivering their cakes to us! And just like that, our tableware shop felt more like a cake shop! 
Luckily, we had all the right accoutrements to display them proudly. Our Bakers sending personal wishes to the Age UK guests for the Valentine's Day!...and we're off!
