The whole area around our Belgravia store comes alive, with shops and streets bedecked with flowers to celebrate 'Chelsea in Bloom' & 'Belgravia in Bloom'. Restaurants offer floral themed experiences and the streets throng with visitors. If we're lucky, sometimes the sun even shines...
This year, as for everything else - there is no buzz, no throng and no Flower Show.
However, to keep us florally inspired, the wonderful people at the RHS are taking the show online and starting today, have put together a lovely programme of virtual talks, tours and tutorials featuring some of the best loved designers, celebrities and personalities in the world of gardening.
We thoroughly recommend anyone looking for inspiration this week to have a look.
There is even a daily School Gardening Club with activities for families to grow plants and connect with nature, if you need a break from home schooling.
Motivated by their hard work in bringing the Flower Show into our homes, we thought we would do our own homage and showcase our pictures of some of our favourite bits of the show from the past two years, teaming them up with suggestions for how to bring similar joy into your own home.
