Tomato Verte
Few things capture the romance of slow living quite like a freshly grown tomato. A simple, humble pleasure. Ripened patiently beneath the summer sun, gathered still warm from the vine, its scent carrying traces of green leaves, dry earth and long afternoons in the garden. There is beauty in its simplicity, a reminder that the finest things cannot be hurried.
This was our inspiration for our latest table linen collection, Tomato Verte, a tablecloth, in three sizes and matching napkin woven from pure French linen. Trailing tomato vines wind across crisp white linen in verdant green, celebrating the abundance of a Mediterranean kitchen garden at the height of summer.
Tomato Verte evokes baskets brimming with sun-ripened fruit, meals assembled instinctively from what has just been picked and tables filled slowly, generously, without ceremony. The design feels like a love letter to those unhurried rituals, to cooking seasonally, eating outdoors and finding beauty in the everyday.
With love,
Summerill & Bishop
