S&Bee Linen Napkin in Avocado Green, 50x50cm

£27.50

A gentle cascade of flowers adorn the edges of each napkin - be sure to spot the occasional bee flying amidst them!

“Falling Flower” was originally designed to commemorate our co-founder Bernadette Bishop, who would hand draw the motif on all her correspondence. Now comes S&Bee, updated in a fresh new tone - a little twist on our most classic design.

This fine 100% linen napkin with its slightly crushed and soft texture, bridges the space between rustic sensibility and modern practicality. This design is equally at home in a casual, outdoor setting, as it is as part of a more formal, indoor tabletop. Matching tablecloth is available.

Bernadette's flower in this design is a registered trademark of Summerill & Bishop Ltd.

A little message about our printed linens…

Linen is a beautiful and timeless fabric, loved for its natural and irregular look.

Due to its textured rough surface and our manufacturing process, developed to relax and soften the fabric, your tablecloth and napkins may have some small white spots and areas of fading on the printed surface, which is characteristic of our technique. These irregularities are completely normal and make each item truly unique.

Wash at up to 60 degrees on a regular cycle (avoid “eco” or longer cycles).
Never soak for longer than 10 minutes and avoid using Vanish and other whitening products.
Tumble dry at 70 degrees for a soft effect, and 90 degrees for a more crushed finish.
We don't recommend ironing the full cloth in order to keep the linen’s lovely crumpled texture intact, but we do like to iron the edges to give it a sharper edge.

The Story

The more people that were around the table, the happier our co-founder Bernadette would be—the meals she prepared for friends were typified by an effortlessness that’s totally unforgettable. Designed here in our Notting Hill studio, the Falling Flower design originally drew its inspiration from Bernadette’s hand drawn flower motif. The flower adorned the very first of our in-house designed tablecloths, we thought it a perfect way to both commemorate Bernadette and begin a new phase in Summerill & Bishop’s history. Now, we present Bernadette’s ‘Falling Flower’ in a fresh new colour way - with this sophisticated piece, Bernadette always has a seat at our table.
