Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Wash at up to 60 degrees on a regular cycle (avoid “eco” or longer cycles).
Never soak for longer than 10 minutes and avoid using Vanish and other whitening products.
Tumble dry at 70 degrees for a soft effect, and 90 degrees for a more crushed finish.
We don't recommend ironing the linen in order to keep the linen’s lovely crumpled texture intact, but we do like to iron the edges to give it a sharper edge.

About Us
About Us
Founded by the late June Summerill and Bernadette Bishop, two great friends with a truly effortless and unique sense of style, Summerill & Bishop first opened its doors on 18th May, 1994 in Holland Park, and has remained on the same quiet, leafy corner of Clarendon Cross ever since.
Fantastic home cooks and entertainers both, June and Bernadette were frustrated with the offerings at most kitchen and tableware shops at the time, and with the lack of personality and intimacy, so they decided to create one of their own, where beauty and functionality would both be key.
At Summerill & Bishop we believe that if people take the time to lay the table and present a meal beautifully, they'll enjoy it all the more and create a lasting memory for those who share it with them.
For us, laying the table is an art form that we can all master at home and is one of the simplest ways to tell someone what they mean to you. The table isn't just a place to pass food, you pass tradition, memory, and love, too. Read our full story here...
The story
Our range of embroidered linen napkins is designed to inspire first thoughts of happy, sun-soaked days when the light lasts and long, leisurely lunches move outdoors, featuring cheerful Cherry Blossom and herbaceous Fennel Flower. Cherry Blossom - a celebration of sakura in springtime that paints the landscape a pale pink, signalling the arrival of a new season. Fennel Flower - tender fennel flowers bloom in bright, blazing yellow florets to form an elegant bouquet along one corner of the linen. A pleasing embroidery for those that love their garden.
