A rare and special offering; a tablescape bundle, gathered together in loving memory of June Summerill.

The ‘Our June’ bundle collection brings together a 380cm tablecloth, a set of 10 napkins, 6 cushion covers and a lacquered tray in heartfelt tribute to our late co-founder, June Summerill. It honours her eye, her instinct and her unwavering belief that the things we live with every day should be both useful and deeply beautiful.

The collection carries something of her spirit: gentle, considered and quietly full of purpose. Linen made to be lived with, softened by use and enriched by time. Colours that echo her love of the understated, from chalk and petal to light and earth.

At its heart is a garden of wildflowers: Meadow Fleabane, Iris, Mariposa Daisy, Wild Hyacinth, Perennial Phlox, Saltmarsh Rosegentian, Fireweed, Lemon Columbine and Mariposa Lily.

This is for June. For her way of seeing, and for the beauty she leaves behind.

Size

A 165cm x 250cm tablecloth will fit between four and five people around the table.
A 165cm x 300cm tablecloth will fit between six and eight people around the table.
A 165cm x 380cm tablecloth will fit between ten and twelve people around the table.

Care Instructions

Wash at up to 60 degrees on a regular cycle (avoid “eco” or longer cycles). Never soak for longer than 10 minutes and avoid using Vanish and other whitening products.Tumble dry at 70 degrees for a soft effect, and 90 degrees for a more crushed finish. We don't recommend ironing the full cloth in order to keep the linen’s lovely crumpled texture intact, but we do like to iron the edges to give it a sharper edge.

We care very much about the products we sell and the service that we offer. However, if you would like to return any items that you have purchased from us, we will be happy to replace a product or issue a refund provided it is returned unused, unopened, in perfect condition (including the product packaging) and remains in a re-saleable condition. About Us

Founded by the late June Summerill and Bernadette Bishop, two great friends with a truly effortless and unique sense of style, Summerill & Bishop first opened its doors on 18th May, 1994 in Holland Park, and has remained on the same quiet, leafy corner of Clarendon Cross ever since.

Fantastic home cooks and entertainers both, June and Bernadette were frustrated with the offerings at most kitchen and tableware shops at the time, and with the lack of personality and intimacy, so they decided to create one of their own, where beauty and functionality would both be key.

At Summerill & Bishop we believe that if people take the time to lay the table and present a meal beautifully, they'll enjoy it all the more and create a lasting memory for those who share it with them.

The story

The ‘Our June’ collection is a tribute to our late co-founder June Summerill; her eye, her instinct, and her unwavering belief that the things we live with every day should be both useful and deeply beautiful.
She knew a table was never just a table, but a place where life unfolds. Her touch was instinctive; natural textures, softened tones, pieces that felt as though they had always belonged.

At the heart of this collection is a garden of wildflowers: Meadow Fleabane, Iris, Mariposa, Daisy, Wild Hyacinth, Perennial Phlox, Saltmarsh Rosegentian, Fireweed, Lemon Columbine, and the Mariposa Lily. Each flower is chosen not for grandeur, but for feeling; together, they form a landscape that feels both personal and timeless.

This collection reflects her spirit. There is a gentleness to it, but also a sense of purpose. Objects designed not to sit untouched, but to be folded into daily rituals. Linen that invites use, that softens and tells its own story over time. Colours that echo her love of the understated: chalk, petal, light and earth.
