(SUMMERILL & BISHOP)ᴿᴱᴰ
The (SUMMERILL & BISHOP)ᴿᴱᴰ African Flower Collection was made with a simple idea: that beauty can have a purpose. Created with (RED), it brings together the joy of a beautifully set table with a cause that reaches far beyond it; supporting (RED)'s mission to empower people affected by HIV and AIDS, putting them at the centre of care, prevention and opportunity.
The collection is made to be lived with and loved, but it can also help change a life. Meet three of the women whose lives have already been touched by (RED)'s vital work.
With love,
Summerill & Bishop
[ Connie ]

Meet Connie. Nearly 30 years ago, before HIV testing and treatment were widely accessible, Connie unknowingly contracted HIV. All three of her children were born with the virus, and tragically, they passed away.
But years later, thanks to (RED)-supported programs, Connie received the testing and treatment she needed to give birth to Lubona, who was born HIV-free in November 2012.
[ Mama Esther ]

Meet Mama Esther. For more than 15 years, she has served as a health worker in the Maasai community in Tanzania at a (RED)-supported community clinic, building trust with local families and bringing vital health information and care directly to their homes.
A few years ago, Esther met Neema, a very sick young woman who was also pregnant. Neema was hesitant to get tested for HIV because of stigma, but Esther encouraged her to visit the local clinic. There, Neema learned she was living with HIV, and with Esther’s support, she began taking life-saving ARVs that kept her healthy throughout her pregnancy and helped ensure her baby was born HIV-free.
Neema is just one of the countless people Mama Esther has helped over the years. Their story shows the difference a trusted community health worker can make.
[ Miller Huila ]

Meet Miller. Growing up in Antioquia, Colombia, Miller struggled to be herself with her family, friends and community. Through La Corporación Stonewall, a (RED)-supported human rights organisation working to support the LGBTQ+ community, she found her voice and a community where she could be herself.
Today, Miller works as a peer educator, helping people living with HIV navigate the legal system and connecting members of the LGBTQ+ community to HIV testing, treatment and psychological support.

Join us in supporting the people and programs bringing life-saving HIV care closer to the communities who need it most.
For every purchase of a (SUMMERILL & BISHOP)ᴿᴱᴰ product, 20% of sales will support (RED)'s efforts to expand access to care that keeps mothers healthy and babies HIV-free.
