(SUMMERILL & BISHOP)ᴿᴱᴰ

Every project we release into the world carries a piece of us within it; our memories, our care, our inspiration imbued into every detail. Nothing we do is ever just made; it is felt, it is nurtured and is let go with meaning, in the hope that it finds a place in someone else's story. And sometimes, a project means even more: a chance to give something back and to bring to the table important issues.

The African Flower Collection is here.

The collection has special meaning for us beyond creating a beautiful table, as a full circle moment for our CEO and Creative Director, Seb Bishop, who was International CEO of (RED) from 2008 to 2011.

Founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver, (RED) was created to harness the power of business and consumer choice in the fight against AIDS. Their vision was simple yet revolutionary: partner with the world's most iconic brands and transform everyday purchases into a force for global good. Since its inception, (RED) has worked with pioneering partners including Apple, Bank of America, Beats by Dre, FIAT, Starbucks, Gap, Converse and Vespa, creating products and experiences that raise both awareness and vital funds for global health initiatives. To date, (RED) has generated over $800 million for the Global Fund’s life-saving HIV programs in sub-Saharan Africa, impacting over 350 million people. For two decades, (RED) has fought tirelessly to end preventable diseases such as AIDS by funding programmes that provide testing, treatment and care in some of the world's most vulnerable communities.  A particular focus has been helping to end vertical transmission of HIV, ensuring more children are born HIV-free and more families can thrive.

Every day, 325 babies are born with HIV. (RED) works to end this injustice.

It is this shared belief in the power of everyday actions to create meaningful change that inspired the collection. As a full-circle moment for Seb, he and the studio team have created a collection of table linens and accessories, adorned with trailing African wildflowers; a tribute to the landscapes and communities at the heart of (RED)'s work across the continent. Together, we hope to turn gatherings around the table into support for (RED)'s life-saving work.

For every purchase of a (SUMMERILL & BISHOP)ᴿᴱᴰ product, 20% of sales will support (RED)'s efforts to expand access to care that keeps mothers healthy and babies HIV-free.

With love,
Summerill & Bishop
