The table is where families gather, a place where we begin to understand the world, through stories, questions and daydreams. Our latest collection, '1914 Nautical World Map', was created to make those moments even more meaningful: a beautiful piece for the table and an invitation to explore.

In many ways it is a map of another world. An original from 1914, its borders and country names reflect a time before the world we know today had taken shape. For children, it provides more than a lesson in geography. Trace a finger across distant shores, find a country, ask why its name is different today and discover how much the world can change over a lifetime. Maps are records of people, stories and history and so are a gentle way to invite learning at the table.

Dream aloud about the places you might all one day go. Let dinner become a voyage of discovery, where curiosity is served alongside supper and conversation becomes the compass. Around the table, we’re not simply charting the course of a meal, we’re helping those around it, our children, chart a course of their own. We're giving them a sense of where they are in the world and a little wonder about where they might go next.

The collection is available as a tablecloth in three sizes with a matching napkin. A complementing round cork-backed placemat will be arriving very soon too.
